Me messing with some pH paper

June 30, 2009 – Bloomington, Indiana – Indiana University – Dept. of History and Philosophy of Science – The Chymistry of Isaac Newton Project Second attempt at distilling sulfuric acid from the iron sulfate. We used a glass retort modeled on those available in the early modern period, but the ice would not have been readily available to chymists such as Isaac Newton (except in winter). We used an aluminum bucket filled with water and ice as a condenser, a 14-inch steel BBQ surrounded by fire-brick, measured temperatures as high as 800C (and the thermocouple wasn’t even in the coals), used real-wood charcoal, and ended up with a lot of semi-concentrated sulfuric acid. The acid stung our nostrils and we measured a pH of zero (using pH paper that only went down to zero, so it may have been lower). We expect that some condensate from the condenser leaked into the vessel, but our product was still very acidic.

Electrolysis of concentrated sodium chloride solution & detailed explanation I am going to do an experiment about electrolysis as my weekend project. I have used concentrated sodium chloride solution and pencil as electrode as pencil is made up of graphite which can conduct electricity. Music by GTA 4 Radio – The Journey – The Oh of Pleasure

watch in high quality! www.youtube.com *read* ahah yes! first pandora hearts imaginary amv!
okkk, so this is like a tribute to alice from pandora hearts with the song imaginary by evanescence. it shows how alice lost her memories, and how she got rid of them and was in the abyss where she was “safe” and now she’s in a new place trying to find her memories and how messed up everything is xD. it makes more sense in my head. but i hope you get it xD theres SOME alice x oz in there, but not much. i know the old effect thing is in there too much, but its purposly in there, to show crazy sides xD idk :]. dont bashh! i’m getting better at this. practice makes perfect! i really wanted to make the video take up the whole full widescreen but i dont know how, can anyone help me? thanks
i think it sucks but yeah
i could do a ton of things better with it, but ill save that for next time! xD *i might redo this* anyways… enjoy! *credits in the amv*

Debunking the myth of ph balanced by testing the range of ph in the natural health field.

In the following video, Cathie, from www.alkalinewaterplus.com demonstrates testing her own body’s ph. It’s perfect, of course, seeing as she’s been drinking alkaline ionized water since she purchased her first water ionzier over 16 years ago. It’s easy and inexpensive to test your own body ph… using ph test paper which you can buy from me at Alkaline Water Plus website…Here’s the link www.alkalinewaterplus.com A person’s ph level of saliva is a really good indication of their body ph. Young children, or people who have been drinking alkaline ionized water will have a ph at the perfect level [7.365]. But as you get older and have used up your body’s buffers, your ph tends to drop [[7.2...7.1...7.0...6.9] even though you still appear healthy. This isn’t a healthy condition, though, and you may have some signs of unhealthiness [allergies, infections, colds...]. People with diseases will show up with an acidic body ph [around 5.8 to 6.5].
